Wakeskating is the skateboarding of the water and it's one of the most challenging and rewarding towable sports out there. Unlike wakeboarding where your feet are strapped in, wakeskating uses a board with grip tape (just like a skateboard) and no bindings. This means you're relying purely on balance, board control, and technique to stay on top of the water.
We tow wakeskaters at similar speeds to wakeboarding around 16-22mph depending on skill level but the freedom of not being attached to the board opens up a whole new world of tricks. Ollies, shove-its, kickflips, and grabs all become possible once you've mastered the basics.
If you've got a skateboarding background, you'll feel right at home. The movements translate directly to the water, but don't be fooled wakeskating has its own learning curve and demands precision and commitment with every move.
Our instructors have extensive experience teaching wakeskating fundamentals and can help you progress from just staying up to landing your first tricks. We've got quality wakeboards designed specifically for the sport, ensuring you have the right setup to learn and progress safely.
